DAFFODILS

TOO PRETTY FOR WORDS

Daffodils

If you think you know daffodils, this collection will surprise you. Beyond the familiar cheerful yellow, I have gathered soft cups washed in apricot and pink, ruffled doubles that look like little peonies, split cup varieties, and the intensely fragrant tazetta and poeticus types that can perfume a whole room. They are the most generous flowers I grow, untouched by deer, quick to naturalize, and returning a little larger every year. There is nothing like the first daffodil of the season. These are the ones worth waiting for.
