Alliums

Alliums are the punctuation of a great garden. They are sculptural, structural, and wonderfully fun. From the enormous violet globes of Globemaster to the starry constellations of Christophii and Schubertii, and the nodding bells of Nectaroscordum, they bring height, rhythm, and a long season of interest, drying beautifully right on the stem. Bees adore them, deer leave them be, and they give any planting real architecture. No designer's garden should be without them.
