Slow to settle in and generous for a lifetime, they are the plant that outlives us, blooming lusher and more fragrant with each passing year. I have chosen the great heirloom doubles and the luminous corals, the ones with that unmistakable scent and blooms the size of a dinner plate. Plant them now, be patient, and they will reward you for decades.
