Single Ellen White Hellebore
There is a luminous quality to the Single Ellen White that feels like a quiet promise of spring. Part of the renowned Dutch series bred by Ellen Akerboom, these plants produce large, upward-facing white blooms with a glowing crown of yellow stamens. They are incredibly resilient, often pushing through the final remnants of snow to bloom from late winter into April. I love how their pristine petals contrast against the leathery, deep green foliage that remains a constant in the garden all year.
