Also known as the Blue Flag, this is a native treasure of North America. It has a wild, natural elegance that feels much less formal than the others. I find it so exciting to come across this one in a damp corner of the garden; it feels like stumbling upon a piece of an ancient, untouched landscape. It is incredibly hardy and perfect for a low-maintenance, restful border.
