Peaches and Cream Dahlia
TYPE: Decorative
BLOOM: 4-5"
HEIGHT: 36-48"
COLOR: Warm Peach to Salmon
Peaches and Cream (often sold as ‘Peaches N’ Cream’) is a decorative-type dahlia with large, softly colored blooms that blend warm peach, salmon, and pink tones, fading to creamy white at the petal tips. Flowers are usually about 4–5 inches across on plants roughly 3–4 feet tall, making them very showy in both the garden and bouquets.
The petals are neatly arranged in a formal decorative form and tend to curl or reflex backward as the flower opens fully, giving the bloom a rounded, almost ball-like look. Color can vary from flower to flower—some blooms appear more peach and blush, while others show a clearer peach‑and‑cream contrast—which is part of its appeal to floral designers.
Plants bloom from summer into fall in full sun, producing many stems that are excellent for cutting, and the overall effect is a soft, romantic, “sherbet” color palette in the garden.
