Zippity Do Da is a small pompon-type dahlia with tightly packed, spherical blooms about 2 inches across.​  The petals are soft lavender to lilac-pink, often with magenta or purple tones and a hint of white toward the tips, giving the flower a delicate, fairytale look.  Plants grow to about 3–3.5 feet tall on very sturdy, upright stems, making them good for cutting and for the front or middle of a border.  Blooms are produced generously from mid to late summer until frost in most climates.
