Polianthes tuberosa 'Super Gold' is a striking yellow-flowered cultivar of tuberose, known for its single, fragrant blooms on upright spikes.  It forms a rosette of narrow, dark green, lance-shaped leaves about 12 inches tall, topped by sturdy stems reaching 18-28 inches high.  The flowers are single, funnel-shaped, and bright yellow (sometimes described as golden or dark yellow), with tubular bases flaring into six petals; they open in loose spikes mainly in mid-to-late summer.
Blooms have a waxy texture and strong, sweet fragrance, though less intense than white varieties, attracting pollinators.
